The 21st of March is traditionally the "Day of the Forest", which the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) brought into being in the 1970s as a reaction to global deforestation.
In February 2022, Wolman Wood and Fire Protection GmbH was re-certified by DQS according to the Quality Management System standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and the Environmental Management System DIN EN ISO 14001:2015.
"Wood for sustainable climate protection" is the title of the German Wood Congress 2021, an event organized by DeSH (German Saw and Wood Industry Association) in cooperation with agr (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Rohholzverbkunden e.V.).
This year's DHV Autumn Conference was hosted by Wolman Wood and Fire Protection GmbH on 19 October 2021 at Windeck Castle. The main conference theme was the contribution of vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) of indigenous woods to climate protection.
What actually belongs together is now united, setting out on a new path in passive fire protection. Three fire protection units, each with an independent past, have found a common roof in Wolman Wood and Fire Protection GmbH.
