The results of the STADTRADELN campaign are in! A total of 28,326 km were collected for the municipality of Sinzheim.

On 29/30 June, the DeSH invited to the German Timber Congress in Berlin. Under the motto "125 years for wood - a new departure with tradition", the 125th anniversary of the interest group for the sawmill and timber industry was celebrated.

The STADTRADELN campaign officially ended on 19 June. The aim of the competition was to cycle as many everyday journeys as possible in a climate-friendly way for 21 days. 

With 21 active participants, Wolman Wood and Fire Protection GmbH cycled 5,143 km and thus avoided 792 kg of CO2 emissions.

This year, for the first time, the municipality of Sinzheim is taking part in the nationwide STADTRADELN campaign. 

The aim of this competition is to cycle as many everyday journeys as possible in a climate-friendly way for 21 days.

The temperatures are rising and it is finally time for outdoor activities again. In case you intend to build a timber terrace: make sure to use wood impregnated with Wolman preservatives. 

On 12 and 13 May 2022, the 31st German Wood Preservation Conference took place in Dresden, once again organised by the Institute for Wood Technology Dresden (IHD). This series of conferences was initiated and designed by the German Expert Committee on Wood Preservation, in which research and testing institutes, companies, associations, authorities and experts are represented, including Wolman Wood and Fire Protection GmbH.
