Mold spores are almost universally present in the environment. They are released from the fruiting bodies of the parent fungi. In case of molds these fruiting bodies are often visible as colored felts, which are present on the surface of the materials they have infected.

If mold is evident on timber, it is a sure sign of excessive moisture content.

To avoid mold growth on freshly impregnated timber follow these rules:

After 2 ½ years of virtual meetings and TEAMS-conferences, Wolman’s Sales Representatives met in person in Sweden last week.

Our Wolman Nordic sales team Magnus Bergh, David Wixe and Juha Suoranta as well as Wolman’s Managing Director Dr. Ralf Schulz joined last week’s NTR conference in Oslo. The Nordic Wood Preservation Council (NWPC) hosted the two-yearly event for the Nordic wood protection industry. The topics of climate change, sustainability and durability of treated timber determined the discussions.

Congratulations to our colleagues Kevin Herting, Steven Hofmann and Ülgen Mesut on passing their driving licence for forklift drivers.
